The beginning of a new session is always an auspicious time for new hopes and renewed dreams. Campion School, Arera Colony Secondary Section commenced its new Academic Session 2025-26 today. All the students were back to school again after a short break with full zeal. Excitement and enthusiasm seem to be high among the students. All of them are filled with great enthusiasm, eager to meet all their friends and might be struggling to capture their favourite bench. The management and staff welcomed tiny tots on the first day by conducting a welcome programme for them which made them feel unique and important. The School campus bloomed once again to receive new life with the echoes of the students. The programme commenced with the lamp lighting done by Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Vice Principal Alok Kujur S.J., and students from different classes. As they entered the school campus the showers of glitter by the teachers brought a smile to the innocent faces. The Prayer song was sung by the teachers’ choir group. The Welcome song ‘Tumhari hi Mutthi me Aakash Saara, Jab bhi Khulegi Chamkega Tara’ added a joyous essence to the programme. Motivational and inspiring thoughts were presented by the teacher. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J with their speeches directed the students on how to sail smoothly throughout the year and work accordingly to achieve their goals. Principal Fr. in his message, told the students “to be positive, become good human beings and excellence in your studies. Focus on studies holds prime importance, be attentive in class and concentrate on the lesson taught by the teacher. Make your study plan and think a step ahead. Prepare yourself for the future and have sheer courage to face difficulties and problems coming your way”. The students felt enthusiastic and looked forward to the new academic session 2025-26 with zeal and hope. The Master of the Ceremony was done by Secondary teacher Mrs.Supti Biswas.

PACHMARHI SCOUT CAMP 2025
As many as 103 Scout students of secondary classes of Campion School, Arera Colony, Bhopal along with three instructors and vice-principal escorts attended the five day Scout Camp at Pachmarhi in Hoshangabad district. The team is led by Campion School Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., as a Scouter Incharge and Johnsy Koshy as a Camp Leader along with Mr. Sanjay Mishra, Vibhore Tiwari as Instructor teachers from Campion School in this group camp. It was organised by the Bharat Scouts and Guides National Training Centre of Pachmarhi. The Scout Camp began with the hoisting and honour of unfurling the Scout flag by Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur SJ & Mr. Johnsy Koshy. On this occasion, Vice Principal Father welcomed all the Campion Scouts, Instructors etc and said, “It is noteworthy that the Scouts and Guides come from different parts of the country and work together as a unit. Moreover, camps are held in various parts of the country. This would have helped develop many friendships and, I hope, an appreciation for the wide diversity in our country.” Many activities were performed including making tent-house, Patrol, First Aid, Health rules, BP’s Six exercises, Woodcraft signs, Knots-reef knot, Sheet bend, Clove hitch, Sheepshank, Bowline, Fisherman, round turn two half hitches, Simple Drills, First-aid, Map sketches, stay in tents, Rock climbing, Crossing Carious Obstacles and Hurdles, Trekking on various historical and beautiful places like Pandav Caves, Jatashanker, Rajendra Giri, Handi Khow, etc. Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J. along with some teachers was also present for one day in this Scout Camp to motivate all the Scout boys’ students.

CAMPION SCHOOL 1975 BATCH CELEBRATED THE GOLDEN JUBILEE ALUMNI MEET CUM REUNION ON THE SCHOOL CAMPUS. ALUMNI STUDENTS FETE TEACHERS IN A SPECIAL CEREMONY AT CAMPION SCHOOL
The 1975 batch of alumni students of Campion School Arera Colony Bhopal recently organized a teacher’s felicitation programme at Loyola Auditorium on school premises. Students belonging to the 1975 batch of the Campion school felicitated the senior teachers of the School. The programme started with welcoming & escorting teachers to the auditorium and giving a tribute to Fr. E F More with Morning Assembly Prayer and Prayer Service. The welcome felicitations of fathers and teachers were done with bouquets and saplings. After welcoming, the programme began with lighting the Lamp by the Manager & Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., Alumni students and other dignitaries. On this auspicious occasion, the alumni students presented Shreefal, shawls, gifts and mementoes to teachers and felicitated them. The alumni students went nostalgic about their school days and addressed one another affectionately. This day had an emotional and recreational touch. Their eyes became wet out of happiness. The Alumni batch of 1975 members presented different Gifts as a token of love & respect for teachers. Lots of Programmes such as Morning Prayer Thought of the Day, and Plantation took place on this day programme. The teachers, in their message, urged the students to work honestly and sincerely in their chosen fields. Manager & Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J., and some senior teachers were present on this occasion. This program was organized by Alumni (Ex-Campionites) students of Batch 1975 Dr. Sushil Chaturvedi, Jatinder Singh, Vinay Singh, Ajay Chawla, Shekar Chitnis etc. On this auspicious occasion, Manager Fr. Said “It is a good gesture of respect by Alumni members towards the teachers and staff of Campion School”. Manager Father, the Vice Principal Father and all Alumni students visited Founder Principal Fr. E F More grave to pay homage.
