Campion School, Bhopal observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 30 Oct to 5 Nov at the School Campus. As per the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) circular a Special morning assembly was conducted in the secondary section of the school to observe Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW)-2023 on the theme of “Say no to corruption; commit to the Nation”. During the week, to encourage the fight against corruption and Promoting Integrity; the students of Campion School participated in various activities with full zeal and Enthusiasm. The School conducted various activities such as Ranging from slogan writing to poster making, Elocution, Debates, quizzes, a special morning assembly, etc. will be carried out to make this week a success. These activities may be conducted in the school to create awareness of the role of preventive vigilance in reducing corruption and enhancing accountability at various levels therefore strengthening our system of governance by making it more efficient. In a special morning assembly Administer Mr. Mahendra Kothari took the Integrity Pledge by the students. The whole programme of this Vigilance Awareness Week was conducted under the leadership of Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra SJ and the guidance of Senior Teacher and Lecturer Mr. Mahendra Kothari, on this Occasion Fr. Principal said "Corruption is a social evil and it is widespread. It has an adverse effect on the development of a nation; it needs to be eradicated to ensure the prosperity of the nation and the quality of life of its citizens. Measures towards preventive vigilance at various levels of functioning enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability and help in reducing corruption. We are always ready to promote integrity” in our country. Vice Principal Fr. Alok Kujur S.J. and all the teachers and staff were present on this occasion.
