“TEACHERS ARE THE TORCH BEARERS OF THE GEN-NEXT”. TEACHER’S DAY CELEBRATED IN CAMPION SCHOOL. STUDENTS ENTERTAINED TEACHERS WITH KAALBELIYA DANCE, FOLK DANCE, WESTERN DANCE, SKIT, AND BOLLYWOOD DANCE.

Campion School students celebrated Teacher’s Day with zeal, respect and enthusiasm in the Loyola Auditorium at Campion School premises. The School Campus was gripped with enthusiasm as students put their best foot forward to pay tributes on the occasion of the birthday of the Great Philosopher, an Excellent Educationist, a True Humanist and a Great Visionary Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan who has indeed been a beacon, paving and showing the way to the teacher, who can bring about a positive change in a nation with just the right mixture of chalk and challenges. The programme commenced solemnly with the grand welcoming of the Fathers, brothers and teachers done with the bouquets, gifts and greeting cards by the primary & secondary students followed by the lighting of the lamp. The day programme started with a welcome Prayer Service Song & prayer dance by the students and a girls’ dance. The students sang a greeting song. The student musical group rocked the stage with their performance. Boys dance & filler were one of the major attractions of the day. Primary & secondary section Girls and boys students presented kalbeliya dance, folk dance, skit, and western dance in different Bollywood songs and styles. Fusion dance, Hip-Hop dance, and orchestra were awesome. Students showcased their ability with accuracy, flexibility and good coordination. Scintillating programmes by students marked the Teachers’ Day celebrations. Students felicitated the Teachers, Office Staff, Supporting staff, Bus Drivers and conductors with their love and warm best wishes through gifts. On this auspicious occasion Principal of Campion School Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J. said, the day is dedicated to teachers, who play a prominent role in the lives of their students. The teachers act as the guide for life, show the path towards success and enrich the personality of their disciples by imparting ethical and academic knowledge. Master of ceremony was done by the primary & secondary students.
