THE EARTH: OUR COMMON HOME

Nature plays a significant role in human health. The Campion community took the fourth UAP's preferences seriously and made a collective effort towards tree plantation. Over 300 plants of various sizes were planted this year alone, including The Pride of India, Rain Tree, Gulmohar, Kachnar, Neem tree, Kadam tree, flowering creepers, Morchali, Golden Cypress, Terminalia, and Bougainvillea, along with a good variety of ornamental plants and shrubs.

This initiative was also part of the Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Participants included teachers and students from the K.G. section, Campion primary teachers and student leaders, secondary teachers, scout students, school officials, and the school management. Everyone participated actively.

The collective effort was very successful, and there is hope that the newly planted trees, some of which are seven to ten feet tall, will help moderate the campus temperature during the summer season. This endeavor aims to create a better, greener, and healthier atmosphere on the Campion campus.
